mk1super Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 Are Fiesta's being featured enough in Classic ford and Retro ford? Me i'd love to see more featured, some of the examples in the Fiesta section at the top are simply amazing looking. So what do you think folks???

Nettles Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 Yes MK1 Fiesta’s are one of the many models over looked. Personally I feel that neither of these magazines named cover a great range of the old Fords that are available. Sure I know that they have to cover the more popular models so that people will read the magazines and that yes sometimes they also feature some of the alternative models in the “Readers/Owners rides” sections but considering the amount of other alternative models being rebuilt and restored to such high standards these days it’s a shame not to see more features on them. Because of my choice of Ford project I find that I have to buy Custom Car magazine because sadly a 1953 Ford Anglia is looked upon as more of a Hot Rod than an OldSkoolFord. I love all of the old Ford models and as classic vehicle and the spare parts prices continue to rise to a ridiculous amounts more and more people are looking at the alternative models for projects. So it would be good to see more features in the near future.
davreeve Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 Would love to see more featured,They have been about since 1976 only a year after the mk2 escort was launched. Yes they are fwd but fun to drive and surley worthy of classic, old skool status.
harris horse power Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 i think we should do a protest against retro ford until they feature a fwd fiesta , so as of now can no1 buy retro ford

Cookie Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 Do like a mk1 fezza, the ones that really got me into liking them was the pair in one of the chav mags years and years ago, 2 mates, one had a pink (i think) and one had a blue one, really made me like them, had a few of them over the years now, first one at 13, put a cherry bomb in the pipe with nothing else, loved it
shaun1.6ghia Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 not enough coverage i agree... they might be fwd but they are a old skool ford no matter how you look at it. they have recently (well i've only seen them lately) been at some meets and had some very nice an simple mods done. any old skool ford looks good slammed on mini lights. i like them.
