72mk1escort Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 Managed to dent my drivers rear quarter this morning and i am absolutely gutted I was reversing back into a space in the car park where i park for school there was a lamp post and i was going back at literally 1mph i heard a little dink so i thought it was my bumper hitting the lamp post so i pulled forwards and got out to have a look. But below the lamp post is a sort of circular bit of metal that goes around the lamp post which is very low down (completely out of sight) from any driver. It hit just below the bumper on my drivers rear quarter and has put a tiny dink on it so i now have to just touch it up until i can spray the whole panel in the summer Judging by the state of the circular piece of metal im not the only one thats hit it So i am feeling pretty P*ssed off with myself at the moment at i am extremely gutted I will add some pictures later
Copey Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 man that sucks!!! i reverseed into a gap in a farmyard a few days ago, ther was a little wall that i was a good 4" off, and i heard a massive grinding sound, i was well gutted, luckily it only got the endcap though, basically it had these metal brackets that blended into the floor and i just didnt see them in the mirror. sorry to hear about ur bad luck
