i like a couple of metal bands, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, i am really more of a hard rock fan though, metal lacks the subtle melodies that hard rock has i feel, and quite a few metal bands cover up for actually bein shit at playin by havin it so distorted that you cant here the notes

Godsmack, Hatebreed, Ac/dc, metallica, Hellyeah, Slayer, Mudvayne, R.a.t.m, Soil, S.o.a.d, Devildriver, Coal chamber, Septura. to name a few. but my music tastes are broad like the above to stuff like the stones, Drum and Bass, House music, if it strikes a chord with me i'll listen to it.

& dennis stratton ( iron maiden ) first saw them at the bridge house canning town 1976, went and saw them 3 weeks ago at the bridge house 2 on the opening night , and going again 14th feb they are awesome

I don't like shitty pop metal like SOAD, Korn & slipknot etc! I used to be into white Zombie, early MachineHead & stuff but know the only proper metal I listen to now is Opeth. I'm into other bands like Job for a cowboy & Gojira... I suppose they're metal? My fave band has to be Poison the Well... not really sure what it's classed as? Metal-core I suppose

With you on the goth stuff! Sisters of Mercy, Rosetta Stone, James Ray, Danielle Dax, Rubicon, Siouxie to name a few (I used to drive a goth band about/roadie for a bit) but I like Metalica, Ministry, AC/DC etc too, but I have a very wide taste in music!
