ratman Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 It all started with annoying oil leak and ended up with a full ass end resto I had a little diff oil leak that would spray oil up under the car so I tort wile its quiet no shows or to many meets a strip down would be a good idea so 14 bolts later and disconcted the breaks the hole ass end was wheeled from under the car I had had a break fluid leek once so the paint on the casing was missing and the week befor I had a photo shoot I had recived my shocks back after a re build and the twat's had put a -1" insert in so I had to quickley weld 2 straps on to the shocker mount to raise the mount up and it looked pants so i decided to cut them off and start again so the axel was stripped down and I made ally covers for the center and the 1/2 shaft tubes so the casing could be sand blasted You can see the boged shocker mount the diff was taken to WPE to get wayne to fit a new pinion seal and wile it was out it would be rude not to up grade the slipper to a steel end plate I had paid a guy years back to re-build my slipper with a steel casing & end plate turns out he only change the casing and kept the end plate for his car tinker lol The casing back to bare metal Big thanks to martin & chris webb for the blasting started to fab the new shocker mounts when it was all welded I sprayed it with smooth hameright The re-built diff back from wayne's and now all put back togeather ready to go back under the car just gotta sort out the rear shockers and then its all going back
