ZetecVan 2.0 Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 ...so something was bound to break soon... Coming back from work in the van yesterday I noticed a knocking sound. It sounded like the big ends, but I knew it wasn't because it only seemed to do it in second between 1500 and 2500 revs. A quick look under the bonnet, I noticed the alternator was moving. I thought the bolts had worked their way loose as they'd done it before. So this morning I thought I'd tighten them up. So I tried, but they were already tight. Then I noticed that the mount had broken. Bloody old cars. Who'd have em eh?
Admin Vista Posted March 1, 2008 Admin Report Posted March 1, 2008 Look on the bright side mate, new mount and you're off again. How many people can say that after a big end sounding knock from under the bonnet?
