I'm German, own now my 2nd Escort MK1 (currently under restoration) and thought it would be a good idea to register After I sold my very solid 4-door (what a crappy idea) I'm now a more or less proud owner of a not so solid 2-door which I want to convert into a street racer. I collected a few nice bits so far e.g. 2.0 Pinto with Kent cam, 44 IDF and adjustable cam gear, which I luckily got from a SuperSeven driver which wanted to convert to a vauxhall engine So it might happen, that I post some (hopefully not too) stupid questions. Please be patient with my English, I mostly have to deal with Americans and so I am not that into that special UK slang Anyhow, nice board guys, keep the good work up! Regards, Sascha

I tried several times but never got any confirmation emails, neither in the spam folder too. Anyhow, at the end it worked out. So I'm working on the 10 posts My Escort is not yet worth to be shown around. Maybe I'll post some of my sold 4-door. CheeRS Sascha

It was a EX 1300 with a 1600 Kent with 40 DCOE's on, lightend flywheel and the gearbox of the 1600 Sport, quick rack steering and Bilsteins, first paint and no welding done at all. My uncle had a hard time with his TwinCam when I was chasing him CheeRS Sascha
