Dalcos i reckon, he is so persistant, and does more drag racing than Santa pod has customers

He is going for more power this year.

I have not done a thing to mine, sold my slicks also.

I just cant afford to keep up with the others now that i have a house and been out of work for so long

I may try my mates old part worn Avons up the strip one day to see what they are like.

Or maybe sell the house, move back to my mums and spend £50-60k on it

I think everyone trys too hard to get into the 9's, but without carlos fandango wheels sticking out of the arches, i dont think its going to happen

Yes they need the maooooooosive wide wrinkle walls like they run on the cars in Malta with the 2 foot ride height . Looks shite but gets grip . Terrys got huge terminal speed and still sliding about at the 1/8 mile !!!!!!!!

KJ1320 is Vauxhall powered but that could possibly classed as Cosworth too

All the racetrack motors are affraid of some 1/4 mile action for some reason . They should give it a go as it's great fun and a real eye opener

It is great fun and also very interesting to see just how fast an oldskoolford can accelerate from a standstill yet still look normal from the outside . The fact that a number of cars are almost pushing the 9 second bracket is bloody amazing , especially as they are using tiny little 4 cylinder engines and not 8 litre V8 detroit iron !!!!!!!! Keep it up fellas cos your doing the scene proud

Yeah, your right mate, i would probably have a go if i lived nearer a strip. The pod is quite a mission from me.

i would like to know what mine will do on the strip? Guess i'll have to trailer her up to the pod one day!

I have to admit ive done santa pod, but it really dont do all that much for me, however, you guys that show the yank muscle how its done with pintos and crossflows have my full respect...keep at it!
