I used to do the bread run, starting in fulham and finishing near tottenham court road, used to do 11 drops in 1 hour and 50 minutes

Once you know the back roads and routes, its a piece of piss, but the secret is getting up there early, around 5.30am

I did get stuck around a few tight back roads when i first started the job, took out a few barriers along the way in the 18 tonne lorry, fook it

I used to go up to the city quite a lot a couple of years back, and that was good fun. They cut you up, you cut them up - no problem ;0

Heading out west though is a complete nightmare. I hated it

I live near Hammersmith! Hope you firm paid the LEZ charge, the congestion charge isn't in on saturday. I passed my test in London, so got used the traffic decades ago. It's bad enough getting round in a 23ft luton, let alone in a lorry, I don't envy you!

I've been doing class 2 for a while, and had to take a load of building materials to a drop on Oxford Street! What a mare that is, all the side streets are one way and pretty much too small for trucks. Never again!

Used to deliver to the Chelsea flower show in an artic with a fork lift hanging off the back of the trailer and i've got to say i used to love it.

Yeah mate but that's one a year (or twice, if you just go for the set up and break down.
