Mr Sam Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 bloody girlfirend ages ago not long after we met went in a pet shop and she through the biggest tantrum wanting rats NO WAY im sure they make great pets but i aint having a rat in my room end of! so yesterday we got hamsters there chinease dwarfs...........and the wheel makes a bloody racket

hotrodholty Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 my sister used to have russian dwarf hamsters, look identical to them. evil little bastards they were, in the end they had babies and the dad ate all of them and then took a chunk out of the mother and then choked to death on the bones, proper domestice hamster violence masacer. rats are much better, cleaner and way more intelegent. as for your squeeky wheel we used to oil ours with veg oil so as not to poison them
Copey Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 used to have a pet rat, was a great pet, it bit ti dog LOL...the dog ran away from it after that, it escaped and we lost it for 3 days, found it snuggled up in a draw after chewin itslef a nest out of a jumper, haha
caprinerd Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 use to keep two hooded rats, chave and blood, really clever things use to leave cage open and they would come out have a play around and go back in cage better than a hamster, expecialy russian hamsters, blood vicious things

They are the cleanest pets you can ever have Yes Rats are great!!! we spent a few hours with 25 rats on saturday night. They didn't last long once the dogs were on 'em though!!!!
