ever get that sinking feeling when reality kicks you in the balls?

 

I just realised its only 47 days until classic ford show and I have a car with no engine, no engine to go in it, no knowledge of hwo to get it back in.....i think im screwed.

 

at this rate i think i may be going to CF show in a volvo 240 :sad::sad::sad::sad::sad:

you will make it mate ! Theres enough bods on here close to you to help , just buy a £100 motor while you sort yours out and thrash it into the ground

 

a weekends work at most bud.

Do it properly. I'm sure you'd rather go to CF show in a volvo than rush it all together & have endless problems/expense!!

 

I can't even go to CF show thanks to a selfish mate getting married & choosing me as the best man!!! Some people eh?! :roll::mrgreen:

my mex is still in bit,engine went in 2 week ago,not ran yet,no mot or tax and my first show is start of may 200 miles away

true fellas true but i dont think i have the skill to do it. did think of getting a normal 1600 and fitting it for a whiel but i cant afford it.

well mate im getting a £500 engine refurb :shock: as a bit of a favour from a mate ! So who knows how that will go . POP more likely !!

 

So we are all in It . If it aint ready for CF , It aint no thing . Get a Tshirt with a photo of the terracota terror and wear it with Pride ... That your doing it yourself Bud

 

I may not be there in a CF but my alfa sportwagon is better to sleep in if im Drunk ! :lol::beer::lol::wink:

I got all the bits for mine but I'm pretty sure I'll be thumbing a lift to classic ford lol. Don't think my diesel golf will look to good running down the pod... :sad:

Seriously Antz, i'm sure you know the amount of frustration my engine caused. Due to money and trying to obtain another block, mine took a year to get finished. During this time, a good mate lent me his 1200.

 

What is wrong with your 1300? Bust a move and sling that back in mate. It's better than no engine at all isn't it? :wink::ykt::D
