Your story sounds a lot like me and my ex girlfriend we were realy in love and spent a lot of our time together but after 2 years or being together she started naging at me to spend less money and time on the escort u know the story, and all we did was row and fight, when we split up she said she was staying single for a while and within a week she had found someone alse !!! It made me feel like the last 2 years had been for nothing I was ready to " settle " down with her so to speek, now glad i didnt, it tore me up inside for weeks but thats life. If she isnt willing to meet you halfway then its time to get rid, when i look back and think about all the running round and stuff i did it makes me sick to think she was changeing me as a pirson, you dont see it at the time, they say love is blind............ it is !!

If i could find a good doris to settle down with who was as into cars as i am i would jump at the chance, I am 27 now and i havent found one yet, after me and the ex split up i very nearly vowed to never go out with any body again it hurt me that bad, i started smokeing heavley again ( i had given up because she didnt like it) and i felt like shit for weeks, to me all that hurt is not worth it i would rather stay single but i still miss her. On a anouther note though did give up smokeing for good at christmas as that was killing me as well

I just got off the phone with mine. spent a godo while talking about everythign from cars to how we are with each other and i think we gto things sorted. we are still together and i know i drive her mad with cars but she drives me mad with bags and shoes i think thats equal....we both been under a lot of stress (particuarly me) recently so thats prob contributed to things kicking off. as for the distance. its put up and shut up really. i told her she needs to come see more and she actuially agreed so hopefully we can get more a two way journey rather than me busting my arse all the time (my own fault though) did a lot of ummming and aaahing about weather we want to be together and eventually decided that we both still wanan be together....prt of our problem is were both as stubborn as each other so thats it really.....were still together and we sorted a few thigns out...hopefully for the better thanks fr your help and advice people. thanks for listening to me cos it really helped just for someone to listen to what i ahd to say. your all brill

richie_stix Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 mate, your still young and i assume so is your missis... theres still plenty of growing up left, I'm only 22 and I'mm well different mentaly than 19... stick with her, she will soon realise that having someone handy at cars is a good thing. i reckon she's still young and exebiting classic female jealousy... my birds the same, not happy unless I'm paying her attention! we all got cancel shit from time to time for the ladies but thats just part of it... and arguments are good, gets stuff off the chest and vents emotions etc, this phase will pass, just focus on the positive, be a bigger man and ignore the negative! good luck dude
