S/West Powderham Show ,July 7/8th now with details

Is anyone interested in a club stand at the Powderham show in Devon next year? It's a fairly big event and runs over two days with camping available, entertainment laid on and most importantly a beer tent

Event Title & Location Historic Vehicle Gathering. Powderham Castle, Near Exeter, Devon.

Event Dates Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th July 2007

Organising Club Crash Box & Classic Car Club

Closing Date for Entries 01 / 06 / 2007

(Individual cars possibly by mid May)

Type of Vehicles All types of classic car, motorcycle, commercial vehicle, traction engines

Details are as follows

 

Cost £5 per car inclusive of 2 occupants (very reasonable I think)

Camping pitch £15 each though as yet I don't know if this is per night or for the weekend but will find out.

Gonna check with work to see if I can get the time off. Shouldn't be too hard seeing as I work all winter to get the shows off. I think it was mentioned in Capri Club so could see you up there.

It's good to get there early on the friday if poss, to get a decent spot to pitch your tent

The form I have at the moment is an individual entry, but I'm chasing them for a club entry one. Don't know how much space they'll give us at the moment, nor how much we'll need, but it won't stop people entering individually if we don't have space for everyone on a stand, we could then rotate the cars over the 2 days.

20-25 cars? There's around a dozen shown interest on here, if they don't all turn up then we (hopefully I'll be back behind the wheel of an OSF by then!) can spread out & maybe have a gazebo if anyone's got one
