Admin Vista Posted April 30, 2008 Admin Report Posted April 30, 2008 But E's are good. Naughty Naughty VERY naughty!
Rick Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 you need to write sentences without E's then like: 'it looks cool, it might catch on'
Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 But E's are good. Yep, and "Everything Starts With An E" That was the Eeezzee Possee... you really do need an 'E' key for that otherwise the record wouldn't exist BTW... "Let's All Pop An E" SHABBA

flyingbanana Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 sounds like the keyboard country has changed to US...go to control panel then regional and language options and change all the tabs to uk then apply and you might need to restart the pc but it should sort it
Toby Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 OH! It's a serious question!! I found this... http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A703351 Maybe a re-boot will fix it. Maybe your Ctl and Alt buttons are stuck down although it seems unlikely!! What do you get if you press CTL, ALT and E?
Messenjah Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 right well as Flying banana said that could be the problem or it could be an american keyboard and if you are using xp it could be a stupid little programme called stickykeys do you get other weird things happening ... and in the bottom right of the screen is there a strange little symbol that looks like iirc about 5 keys (next to the clock) if so try just holding down or tapping ctrl alt and shift untill it goesaway
Stu_B Posted April 30, 2008 Author Report Posted April 30, 2008 Yeah it's a new wireless keyboard.. although it's been fine for about 2 months! I'm using XP so it's probably that
Stu_B Posted April 30, 2008 Author Report Posted April 30, 2008 Testing Testing!!! Whoo hoo! Dunno what I did but it's fixed
