escortmad79 Posted May 12, 2008 Author Report Posted May 12, 2008 not got a copy yet but im guessing at maybe a s1erra with a V8 in it? Not even that good! Mk2 XR2 with chav rims! Don't turn the mag into an extention of Fast Ford!
antz Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 gotta agree. and teh royal nail van. i was at that meet and there were LOADS of cracking old fords there and you go feature a mk2 fez and a mk4 escort van good mag but thats my only gripe
Lardy Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 I know alot of people dont like them but i have to admit I do love a 3dr cossie but in classic ford where do you draw the line I remember being really gutted when a mk1 fiesta appeared never liked em when they were new let alone now- front wheel drive yuck! I thought here we go fast ford mk2 but attitudes change and you have to admit it we all wanted one when they were released --moonstone 3dr with a big whale tail
zetecmk2 Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 i think the time is right to accept all sierra's!! rwd and when was the last time you saw one??? yes, i know it was this week, but you remembered it!!enough said (they were'nt all cossies you know!!)
Fiesta Steve Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 5ierra's and fwd Escorts have been in classic ford mag since the begining which was a long time ago now.. ..who remembers when it was bi-monthly
Arfur Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 S1erra's and fwd Escorts have been in classic ford mag since the begining which was a long time ago now.. ..who remembers when it was bi-monthly Yep, you are absolutely right - 11 years ago! This is a lot of fuss about nothing. One 5 cm wide pic of a Mk2 Fiesta slipped through the 'classic filter' in a show report, and all of a sudden we're featuring them! Oh, and the pic of Wenny's Royal Nail van went it because it runs 11s and is cool as feck. Si
RFChris Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 I shouldn't worry Si, I ran a picture of a Firenza in a show report....i still haven't heard then end of it.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted May 14, 2008 Admin Report Posted May 14, 2008 I like 3 door Cossie's, RS1600i's and some others too and I think at 20 years old (which some of these models are) they ARE Old Skool. They may not be OSF old skool but they are considered Old Skool by many, many people CF and RF Mag should continue with them IMHO

Stu_B Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 I shouldn't worry Si, I ran a picture of a Firenza in a show report....i still haven't heard then end of it. I'd rather see a Firenza than a mk1 fezzy (unless it's rwd or some other work of engineering & fabrication art ) *I'm running for cover
