How can some people be so cruel? UPDATED 22/5/08

'Today has been absolutely shocking for me and I cant believe people can be so cruel. We got a phone call on Sunday reporting a cat that had gone missing (one from the cattery) he was homed 4 months ago and had settled really well but suddenly gone missing. He was found today tied up by his back legs swinging in a tree. He died of a broken back struggling to get down. I was actually at the vets when his body was brought in and I recognised him instantly. I can’t explain what im feeling at the moment or can I imagine what his owners are going through. I hope who ever done this gets what they deserve. All I can say is rest in peace Harry x x'

 

'The reason I was at the vet was to pick up a heavily pregnant cat (nothing new) but I was told she had burns. Well i’ve never seen anything like it, this young, very friendly, black and white cat came out with massive burns across her back. The vets reckon someone has thrown boiling water over her. She has red raw burns across her back and bald patches on her legs and belly. How can people be so cruel? She is due to give birth any day and she should be wearing a buster collar, but of course we cant leave it on as she wont be able to give properly. Here are some pictures, the vet can’t say if we will be able to get these burns to heal as some are very thick and he can’t guarantee the kittens will be ok because of the shock and treatment they have had to give. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed and pray for this little kitty.'

These people when caught should be used for de-stressing everyday normal folk. Instead of going to a gym you pop into a centre and spend 5 minutes beating the shit out of them.

I read about the ships cat off HMS Belfast that was thrown into the water and drowned I can't understand what goes through their heads when they're doing these evil things to animals (I'm guessing not a lot though). I only got Tappet and Turbo because the farmer was gonna drown them

Whilst im not a cat lover, i find it surrreal how people can do this shit.

 

sure my cat wound me up at times when it tore the new leather sofa and wrecked the carpet on the stairs but theres no way i can see how anyone has to do that kinda crap.

 

me and my cat didnt get on and its now in a very loving home getting spoiled rotten by a nice old lady.

i am a animal lover and i cannot imagine what those poor cats have been through, i hope the cat with burns recovers and hopefully her kittens will be born healthy.

update.....

 

I can't believe it but we have a new inspector who is actually doing a good job. She has traced cinder's owner and the I have to report that this cats injuries were cased by the owners boyfriend 10 days ago. The burns have been caused by battery acid which was thrown at her when she was getting in the way. She hasn't got the cat treated because she a student at college The owner and the boyfriend have seperated as he is in custody for fraud, but she has been cautioned by the inspector and being interviewed tomorrow. The inspector is going for a cruelty case for failure to treat and will also try to get a charge on the boyfriend.

 

 

I so hope they can follow this up properly

I tell you what, if these were my cats, I would make it my life long mission to kill these people. No way on this earth could I sit in peace knowing that scum like that walked our planet, it is absolutely sick, worse in fact than doing it to a human. At least a human stands a fighting chance and a bit more self defense. But to pick on a loved and innocent animal for no reason makes my blood boil. These people should die a long, slow and painful death.
