I definately think there should be some control over what is allowed on site.

i think everyone has a good point but i do agree the plastic got in an there were so many good cars in the car park..

there has to be some kind of rule in place.

think i saw the orange 4 door ghia with a boy in the passenger seat.. did it have purple tribal on the sides?? if so... he got in... watched his dad driving it behind the autojumble.

i seem to remeber more plastic last year. in fact i couldnt find the osf stand last year

 

i didnt thinnk there were many this year tbh or maybe i just wasnt looking at them, lol they werent even good enough to earn a palce in my memory banks

Sites like PF which mainly have new school cars on dont have posts like these, they welcome the old stuff, like i said , invited clubs like the RSOC, which was the first large old ford club, well they where current models then, have members with modern RS's ..

 

OSF i belive go to the Fiesta in the Park .. did their members moan that there was Escorts there the first time .. (think they did the last time so not a good example but you know what i mean )

 

It really is a case of ..... there all cars, just look at what you want to look at .

 

Best thing about letting modern cars in .... the 1/4 times, all the new cars being beaten by 30 year old fords ...

I cant understand why all OSF's arent parked together in the main car park which dont belong to clubs etc, its not hard to arrange - old car there new car over there,its not difficult and if the owners wish to leave early they still can.

but mondeos and ka and focus newer fiestas theyre not classics are they you see them every day on the road

theres nothing wrong with the new school ive had a series 1 rs turbo saff cossies and id love a 3 door they r still the nuts and i love all fords better than the jap shite. how can u slag a cossie off when most of us have cossie engines in r cars.

The National "Classic Car Show" held at the NEC doesn't have modern boring cars. There may be the odd newer car but it would be an interesting model, eg Ford GT.

 

I think a 25 year old rolling limit would be easy to enforce and perhaps the odd exception if CF deemed it to be of interest?

still its a fact that there are less and less OSFs and not everyone wants to go to shows , Im with retro in the fact that if it doesnt catch my eye i walk past it

i get stick about saying my escort's classic to friends and family.

they say it int a proper clasic yet.. so...

i think mk3 escorts and 3drs should defo be aloud in but do not understand how a ka or a mondeo could be seen as a classic.and dont even get me started on that bloody jet car seen it once seen it a thousand times.still tho it was a great show and i had a really good day.
