Jeff HPE Motorsport Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 As some of you know that James ( HARRIS HPE) is & has gone Pinto now in his Escort. We have now fitted the engine in his car & he said he prefered red leads, I said I prefered the blue ones ! At the mo we have gone with the red ones, but I`m still not convinced that they look right.. please help us decide !! ?? Thanks in advance.. Jeff Harris..
Noodles Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 I thought the different colours were different thicknesses....but blue ones

MK2Ed Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 They are different thickness but have heard there really isn't a difference in performance. Blue block, blue leads...... My blocks black so think the red leads go better.....
steve dray Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 Go for red, it'll match your eyes!! Or why not compramise and have no 1 + 3 red and 2 + 4 blue?? If not I'd say red to match the cap
Guest cortmk2 Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 looks v.nice i think the red ones also what paint you using on that engine

antz Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 its only a set of leads id otn think people will kill you over the colour of the leads.
richie_stix Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 blue... even tho i think red normally looks better!
X-pack-Glyn Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 I think wasted spark coil packs one on each plug, black is best for them.
Jeff HPE Motorsport Posted July 8, 2008 Author Report Posted July 8, 2008 its only a set of leads id otn think people will kill you over the colour of the leads. I didn`t think they would, I was asking peoples oppinion, cos I liked the blue, & James liked the red ! The fact is I am & I know James is really fussy, & its all about it looking as good as possible, as well as going good !! Its like buying a new rad & putting the old hoses & clips back on it, not the way I do things.. Jeff Harris..
