aled Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 Don't wanna be nasty.....but isn't there a better way to spend your life than catching (or cheating by asking other people) to catch WORMS !
Toby Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 Can't you buy them? Infact - why not cut out all the fookin about and buy the fish! Failing that could you not use some of your "fellow" worms to entice them out?
Mr Sam Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 go out on your lawn and lightly pat it to trick the worms into thinking its raining
Fishtailparka Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 It's pissing down. Why do you need to trick them?
kirk10 Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 go out at night on a football pitch or similer and a torch you will get loads thats how we used to do it beats digging
mk3cokebottle Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 fill up a watering can and add some washing up liquid just enough to make it froth up a bit , pour it on a patch about 1mx1m and cover it with a black bin liner leave it over night and you will have your worms no im not strange i fish quite alot lol and its just a trick you learn
Toby Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 What is a lob worm? Is it the ones you throw? Or are they the ones you get on the beach with "legs"?
V8ian Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 Toby be careful, your gonna open "A Can of Worms" soon.
2.8i Cossie Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 yip the washing up liquid and black bin liner trick will work!
antz Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 Can't you buy them? Infact - why not cut out all the fookin about and buy the fish! i did think that
Toby Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 What you need is an early bird So do you need an early cat to catch the early bird cos washing up liquid wont do it? Will it?
sab6024 Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 It's pissing down. Why do you need to trick them?
northern monkey Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 soak the lawn at tea time go out when its dark with a torch and they will be on top of the grass, but be quiet cos if they here you comin they will fook off
5hane Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 the ones you buy are crap.. have you got turf? if you have just lift a bit up.. tonnes of worms (u proably knew that tho) or if its raning when it dark cant you just pick em up? surly thed be loads?
X-pack-Glyn Posted July 8, 2008 Author Report Posted July 8, 2008 ive just been told soap and a thick sheet. so il give that a bash tonight and let you know how it goes. i wont buy em as abouta packet of lobs cost a fiver, they used to cost about 2 quid, i refuse to pay about 20 pence each for second hand worms.
X-pack-Glyn Posted July 8, 2008 Author Report Posted July 8, 2008 What is a lob worm? Is it the ones you throw? Or are they the ones you get on the beach with "legs"? No, thats rag worm mate, used for catching sea fish.
Trevmk3 Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 if theres an allotment near your go down sometime and ask some of the people if they wouldnt mind putting the worms in a tin for you as they will be digging and finding them all the time
bigglesmk2 Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 Got a mate who caught worm's,he went doctor's and it cleared right up
