Anyone any good at catching worms?

i need 60-70 by the weekend, i went out the other night and managed 1 misserable sodding worm.

 

the father in law did the same and managed 30 odd for the weekend but they are his and he wont give me any.

 

help, i have3 nights to catch 60-70 lob worms

Failing that could you not use some of your "fellow" worms to entice them out?

go out on your lawn and lightly pat it to trick the worms into thinking its raining

go out at night on a football pitch or similer and a torch you will get loads

thats how we used to do it

fill up a watering can and add some washing up liquid just enough to make it froth up a bit , pour it on a patch about 1mx1m and cover it with a black bin liner leave it over night and you will have your worms

 

no im not strange i fish quite alot lol and its just a trick you learn

soak the lawn at tea time go out when its dark with a torch and they will be on top of the grass,but be quiet cos if they here you comin they will fook off

ive just been told soap and a thick sheet. so il give that a bash tonight and let you know how it goes.

 

i wont buy em as abouta packet of lobs cost a fiver, they used to cost about 2 quid, i refuse to pay about 20 pence each for second hand worms.

No, thats rag worm mate, used for catching sea fish.

if theres an allotment near your go down sometime and ask some of the people if they wouldnt mind putting the worms in a tin for you as they will be digging and finding them all the time
