Inside was a pinto and crossflow alladins cave, it was great... but bugger me, this guy was so vague... and so bleedin monotone, he lacked any kind of enthusiasm whatsoever, with statements like "yeah, well, (long pause) i suppose we could do it...erm.... what engine is it again... FFS, i felt like screamin have some enthusiasm man.... ok, yeah.... long pause, (sucks air in through teeth)... what engine is it again... FFS Shall i bother?

Sorry, where was we...... yes, he may have been having an off day.... i think he was more shocked that someone came in to ask for engine work on a propper engine for a change... there was no end of 16v Red top heads waiting to be collected... but at the back of the shop i see a nice load of propper engines, and he races pintos so thats a good sign.
