Admin Mk2Jo Posted November 22, 2006 Admin Report Posted November 22, 2006 Bad Luck Phil ..... at least you still have your "Hair of Steel" good looks which will detract from the damage to the door when you are driving along
Burns Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 bet you won't do that again in a hurry

Admin Vista Posted November 23, 2006 Admin Report Posted November 23, 2006 :big hug: its annoying wen its no-one elses fault First of all commiserations mate but I'm sure you'll sort it. re the above, my old man did something very similar in his Mk3 Cortina in about 1978. I remember him coming back fuming and in the four mile drive home he'd worked out that it was my mothers fault becuase she hadn't wanted to cook tea and had asked him to go to the chippy. His logic was that if she HAD cooked tea he wouldn't have needed to go out and the car wouldn't have been damaged, ergo it was all her fault There's male logic for you
bomber1 Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 i done that in mine just not so much damage hope it aint to bad

RedditchJay Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 noooooooooo thats why I only have 2 doors because 4 would confuse me as to where to sit.......
Daveyboy20 Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 Sure you'll sort it mate. It just reminded me of something similar i did when i was younger but it was due to being young and stupid! I had my first capri at 13 and a yer or so after that i was manouvering it down the drive out of the garage (it was a black 1.6ls - tasty!) and i caught the front wing lightly on the front post. In aa fit of rage i whacked it into reverse and floored it up the drive and into the garage... forgetting that i had opened the boot earlier! The boot twatted the top of the garage the smashed the window and generally made a right mess
Daggle Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 noooooooooo thats why I only have 2 doors because 4 would confuse me as to where to sit....... Have to agree with the above, or own a new skool car that tells you when a door is still open
