The Olympics starts today with the opening ceremony starting at 12.45 today.

 

Don't really watch a lot of sport on the telly [apart from motorsport] but will probably get hooked into this.Especially swimming,gymnastics and the boxing.

 

What if any do you watch ?

the boxing is not bad to watch other than that nothing.

dont watch it that much, but will be wachin the paralimpic's as i met Tim prendergast (a runner whos *think* 80% blind, if you have watched any of them.. his shoe fell off in one of his races ) and held his gold medal

 

im not sure what else ill watch

dont really bother with the olympics but if i watch anything its def the gymnasts, theyre all amazingly good specially on the beam

Yep, will be taking this in/filling the gaps when I can. Might even follow young English (gypsy) boxer who came across very articulate & humble on the telly and very skilful in the ring...

 

All of the sports people invloved are dedicated and skilful in their field so this aspect I enjoy

lol I saw a bit on GMTV this morning where they reckoned that the whole of the www was gonna crash because everyone would be tuning in via the net to watch the opening ceremony
