ratman Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 sweet lookin tina As The guys have said mk1 OC club or east kent Had bits from both and no proplems
cjpcarpentry Posted August 13, 2008 Author Report Posted August 13, 2008 had my mate round last night who,s a top sprayer for bmw said it was agood body to work with and that we can start next week on the repairs and get her ready for paint are things like the badges and chrome trims easy to get and fit expensive?
Toby Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 Your best bet is to get yourself up to the National Show at Stratford this weekend, you'll get a good idea what's available and prices. I believe the trim for the sides of a Super is a bit hard to come by, but the Nationals will either have the bits or a lot of friendly owners who can point you in the right direction.
Mrs O/H/C Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 we used to have a super .. and its hard work trying to get the chrome strips But as toby said pop up to stratford for badges etc
MK2Ed Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 Hmm I rather like that....... And given the ethics of 'Pistonheads - Speed Matters' you can always get guidance from Toby on building a fook off fast pre-cross.........
martymk1 Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 very nice, good to see another super agree with whats been said' be careful with the chrome strips, 2 & 4 door some parts are diff lenths' obvious i know, but i've been caught out in the past
Toby Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 Hmm I rather like a fook off fast pre-cross......... There is only one engine!! What's in it at the moment though?

LOL I think I've not communicated clearly (again ). Meant to say the rather nice Cortina has a pinto in it and that yes there is only one pre-cross.............
Toby Posted August 15, 2008 Report Posted August 15, 2008 It is difficult to be understood on here - Jo doesn't help matters either by using a really broad northen accent!!
