mk2 stu Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 I could just about understand it if it was the log book to something special but this is just blatant theft support! Seriously how the feck is this legal?
antz Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 they fob it off for collectible purposes which isnt illegal.
countrybumpkin Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 they fob it off for collectible purposes which isnt illegal. actualy it is illegal, this because it is against the law to have a vehicles registration document in your possetion when the vehicle no long exsists

countrybumpkin Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 the only way it can be legal is if its a 'old style' long book such as a card type one or i guess if it has a big stamp accross it with 'canceled' or 'void'

countrybumpkin Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 What about these then ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=015 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=003 i say both are illegal as they can be used to obtain a new registration document which could be put on a stolen car
countrybumpkin Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Old-car-log-book- ... dZViewItem these are the only type you can own legaly as they cannot be used to get a new registration document
glenbo Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 yeah its wrong just selling log books because of cars getting stolen but cant see anything wrong with buying/selling a rolling shell
