Andys fastest lap was a 55.3 last year.

This weekend Andy did some 55's and when not stuck behind traffic was in the low 56's .. and when he got out the car he said no front brakes, a temp check revealed rears of 225'c and fronts of 65'c ... so he was effectivly only stopping with a handbrake,

Qualifiying was on a greasy damp track with everyone going around 2 seconds slower. And Andy was 2.1 seconds slower than a 600bhp Nissan Skyline of Ron Kiddell .. from RK Tuning

race 2 was mainly behind the pace car as there was a 4 car pile up at druids, and by this time Andy was more frustrated and thats never good for a quick time.

After the dust had settled and Andy was describing where he was braking, the difference in turn in, and grip out of corners, hes confident theres easily another second to come. Maybe more. Bear in mind this was a rushed race meet, we normally get some time between the races, but not this time as we may have changed the spring rates, as it was we didnt even adjust dampers.

He really only had 20 laps in total at race speed to get used to it again, and thats was while he was trying to overtake and defend .. so next time at brands, we're hoping for good things

He still got 2 second places and that leaves him second in class and 5th overall in the championship.

Toby, thats the oily bits, I leave that to the men ....

us gentlemen just do chassis's

So far this year, its had a capacity increase, and 2 cams .. last cam change gave a bit more in the mid.. not a lot, but then Andy's never had a lot to start with

Andys the one to ask though .. when he talks engines it just flows over my head, last month he was saying the engine had some new followers, i said ..

"what do they have T-shirts on saying " we love Andy's engine"

he just went
