here's the photographer from retro cars, jon cass, setting up one of those poles on my car. the car has yet to featured in the mag

 

Yeah thats the same, got a bit worried when he started building this massive thing on the floor, he said it was worth the effort & i reckon he was right

Fantastic pictures there...

 

That was taken with a 10 foot ally pole held on the roof by 3 suction cups, i was only moving about 3 mph but he was using a really slow 'shutter' speed. Really clever but very simple. The pole is later photoshopped out of the image.

 

I thought that's how they did it but wasn't sure. In a pic in one of the mags recently you could see the reflection of the mount on the chrome. Very clever
