the first one looks great. dunno how they manage not to get little spatters about though. must need some good equipment

It all comes down to 70% prep, 20% quality of machine and 10% Luck ha ha, Those welds are beautiful, but you need some serious machinery to allow you to create that much penetration without distortion or spatter. V. skillful stuff. :thumbsup:

joking, that looks really really cool 8) like said in one of the posts, there too good to use a grinder on... but really a grinder shouldnt be needed 8)

 

 

 

i want to have a go at wealding :sad:

me too, i use pub gas :P

 

the gas is only to push air away from the weld as theres some stuff in the air that causes it not to burn efficiently.

 

my welding has got a long way to go but i do use a nackered old SIP that is really beyond repair lol

 

that is some excellent stuff :thumbsup:
