As for F1 is boring, ! The cars are the pinnacle of motorsport technology and provide 200mph wheel to wheel action round tight circuits tthat frequently are just barely wide enough to get two cars abreast.

got to disagree ! with all the rule changes coming up including the stupid aerodynamic ruling, there will no longer be 200mph close racing i believe that F1 will no longer be the pinnacle of motorsport. the drivers are all handbags, who just get out of there motorhome after spending hours on the there, and into the car.

world rally is made up of the real men, for years IMO the best drivers in the world have won this championship for putting everthing they have into the rally (whether that be flat out, sideways through forests at 100mph, or getting down and dirty fixing the car at the side of the road. you just dont see that dedication from the f1 drivers !

saying all that, although i think f1 is the biggest waste of money out there, and the racing is crap i will be watching this afternoon as its the final round (but only after watching the world rally highlights on dave)

You do realise that next year all the aero is being cut back and they go back to slicks don't you?

getting back to the close racing that you want, cars will be able to follow each other in the turns due to less aero grip and more mechanical ;)

how on earth can that make it worse ?

Rallying? come on, 4WD, pah too easy by half

fixing cars at the side of the trck  do talk sense mate

but even with full aero help they cant make tyres last !, so take away the aero and its all down to the tyres and chassis. teams with big money have the better chassis and win, back to boring F1. all the rule changes are to slow the cars down, there talking about limiting engine work AGAIN trying to slow them down again. soon the f3 cars are going to be quicker then the f1 cars, and as from next year the f3 cars will definatly look better then the f1 cars.

rallying is for real men, F1's for hairdressers

I like rallying too but rallying is against the clock ergo no car against car action at all. I like it, but not enough to make plans around whether it's on TV.

 Well said that man

so why bother repyling then

What a fecking fan frikken tastic last 2 laps, most electrifying few laps i've seen in 22 years of watching, OK mainly cos there was brit involved but i have to say when Vettel took LH 2 laps from the end i had a flash back to Mansell loosing that rear tyre on the last lap and loosing the title that year

Fortunatly this time it turned around again

well done Lewis

Excellent race and great for Lewis :ykt::thumbsup:

I was very pissed off about the booing at the end though, and i read in the paper about the racist comments people had made towards Lewis

I mean, come on its 2008, some people need to get a life :ykt::thumbsup:

its sad to think that in the modern world it still goes on but you cant ignore the fact it does

as for Lewis he`s proved he can do what the older more experienced drivers do but he`s shown he can do it better and as a novice to f1 whats he gonna be like next year
