Nope, I just can't find Retro Ford or Retro Cars anywhere. My newsagents down the road haven't got it this month and neither has anywhere else around by me – I did try telling them that I "Once was editor of CF magazine", but that didn't seem to make a difference. Sorry Dalek, didn't realise your sensibilities would be upset by my former comment. I hope you can forgive me, I'll try harder not to let my comments offend you in the future.

Apologies accepted, nobody is perfect even if they have edited Classic Ford mag, badly. Try subscribing, it's well worth all the hassle getting the mag and perhaps you might see how a proper magazine is put together.

Might be worth investing in some therapy, help you get over your little problem - what ever it is. Actually you seemed to have quite a problem with the editor I took over from too. I remember you venting that publicly on forums from your keyboard as well. Jealousy, misunderstanding of the product, repressed homosexual feelings? Help me out... I don't tend to subscribe to magazines. I like to go to the shop and buy to be honest, plus you get to have a look before parting with your cash. Just interested. Did you buy Classic Ford when I edited it?

Did you buy Classic Ford when I edited it? My problem ? You're the one that was "Once was editor of CF magazine". This has obviously had a very negative effect on you. Suggest you look into therapy yourself or a psychariatrist ? You can talk in length about "Jealousy, misunderstanding of the product, repressed homosexual feelings? "While you are there, you are obviously a bit mixed up ! In my opinion and, and let's face it, most of the people that posted on that thread over on Turbosports were not very happy with the mag during the period after Simon W left. Yes I have bought Classic Ford mag for many years even when you were the editor. Why / How else could I comment on the magazine if I didn't read it ? All I'm interested in is getting something half decent I can read in the bog rather than wanting to wipe my arse with it in the bog.. LOL For those who are interested here is the thread that I started over on Turbosports. Edited by Admin So what's next then ? Is your Dad bigger than my Dad and are you going to send him up here ? LOL
aphspeed Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 Come on Dalek, there's no need to bring dads into it. And I didn't expect you to actually go and find that thread, but, er, good work. So you did buy Classic Ford through the times that two editors you thought did a bad job were on the mag? And you bought it just so you could comment on it? And that would be in the way that you comment on it on these forum threads is it? So, and please correct me if I'm getting this wrong (I don't doubt you will for a second) you bought Classic Ford for many years (I think Stretton and I were in charge for a total of 5 years between us, that's some 60 odd issues) just so you could bitch about it? And of course, in your own words, wipe you arse with it – charming as ever. Amazing! And you still maintain I'm the one who has a problem... By the way. I'm sure the guys on Retro Ford don't want this nonsense on their bit of OSF. So if you'd like to take this outside to 'old skool ford chat' or 'go and stand in the corner' I'd be more than happy to keep helping you make yourself look like a tit elsewhere.

No i bought it because I am an enthusiast. As much as I would like to continue this debate the threat of legal action means I am unable to carry on.

No i bought it because I am an enthusiast. As much as I would like to continue this debate the threat of legal action means I am unable to carry on. If you say so. Personally I would have thought buying 60 plus issues of a magazine you wanted to 'wipe your arse with' was a bit strange, no matter how enthusiastic you were! Especially when for some of that time you had an alternative publication you obvious have great affection for. But the main thing is you bought it, and contributed to my wages – cheers! Legal action? I understood that was for your libellous comments from the other thread you intelligently linked on here yesterday regarding another journalist/editor? You do have a way with people... Bye bye

Not quite sure why you have a problem with that Wessie??? As Admin our job is to prevent legal situations on Old Skool Ford where we can. If you are that bothered about it then go onto Turbosport and use their Search facility and stop wasting our time with petty comments
