i expect to have trouble getting retro car magazine (only found it in one or two newsagents) but this month i can't even get hold of retro ford from my local newsagents ;-(

Apologies accepted, nobody is perfect even if they have edited Classic Ford mag, badly. Try subscribing, it's well worth all the hassle getting the mag and perhaps you might see how a proper magazine is put together.

I don't tend to subscribe to magazines. I like to go to the shop and buy to be honest, plus you get to have a look before parting with your cash.

In my opinion and, and let's face it, most of the people that posted on that thread over on Turbosports were not very happy with the mag during the period after Simon W left.

 

Yes I have bought Classic Ford mag for many years even when you were the editor. Why / How else could I comment on the magazine if I didn't read it ?

 

All I'm interested in is getting something half decent I can read in the bog rather than wanting to wipe my arse with it in the bog.. LOL

Personally I would have thought buying 60 plus issues of a magazine you wanted to 'wipe your arse with' was a bit strange, no matter how enthusiastic you were! Especially when for some of that time you had an alternative publication you obvious have great affection for.

superb capri features you put in the mag ben, bieng young and having my first osf project its really given me the inspiration to see it through no matter the cost to wallet and body

 

keep up the work cracking mag never fault it for its cars....everyone will always say "not enough of this model" or "too much of that model" but thats the general public for you.. i write small features for my mates on their cars but could only ever hope to get where you are today!

To prevent Dalek from being hauled through the judicial system for libel, it was removed . Not quite sure why you have a problem with that Wessie??? As Admin our job is to prevent legal situations on Old Skool Ford where we can. If you are that bothered about it then go onto Turbosport and use their Search facility and stop wasting our time with petty comments
