mk1super Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 Ok folks my mates dog has had pupies Unfortunatley nobody seems to want one and there free to a good home Pics arent great sorry As you can see there very very cute theres 7 to choose from and there all friendly, and have been brought up round kids and cats so theres no issues with them as they get older, both parents can be seen. These dogs normaly sell for around £700+ quid - my mate simply wants them to go to a good home. Please be aware though these dogs grow to be around St Bernard size but there big gentle giants. For more information see the following sites. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonberger http://www.petplanet.co.uk/petplanet/br ... berger.htm Dogs are located in Northeast Scotland but well worth traveling for
Admin Vista Posted December 24, 2008 Admin Report Posted December 24, 2008 That's not a dog, that's a small horse!! Look cute as puppies though, good luck finding homes for them.
FredTransit Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 AAAAAAW SOOOO CUTE! Can I just say though now is not a good time to give away puppies. If the worst comes to the worst, and he can't keep them any longer, please try to find a breed rescue. I found this number on Google Leonberger Leonberger Club of Great Britain Rescue Mrs H Matthews 01449 736949 Good luck with finding them homes.
Mrs O/H/C Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 has the owner tried putting them on epups website .. more likely to have serious lookers on there.. Please DO NOT LET THEM GO TO ANYONE as they will probably end up abandoned once they are 8-12 months and not so cute.
Fiesta Steve Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 A dog is for life, not just for christmas dinner

Bitches need to have a season (come in heat) to be hormonally complete, but males can be done as soon as their hairy spheres drop. Neither need to breed. Personally I don't agree with neutering males just for the sake of it, but for bitches it's fine, as they spend most of thier time infertile.
mk1super Posted December 29, 2008 Author Report Posted December 29, 2008 Lets just say he has now changed vets
FredTransit Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Hmmm, I see. If it was a breeding from Vet's advice, i think he did the right thing.
mk1super Posted December 30, 2008 Author Report Posted December 30, 2008 Well something amazing happened! 4 of the pups now have nice, new, good homes,! And looks like another 2 could have new homes also, so iam well chuffed So now that only leaves one female
FredTransit Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 That is good news. As for the last one, I would get her used to a saddle at an early age, or perhaps buy her a cart? Sorry couldn't resist....... .
