What with the weather being crap yesterday and i couldn`t do anything out side. I shut myself away in my garage and made myself some duct caps from dice! Yes i know you can buy them, but where`s the fun in that :)

All i did was drill a hole and super the old duct cap inside.

Very nice but I reckon they'll be gone the minute you turn your back.

 

I've had three sets of nice dust caps nicked off my daily drive in the last 6 months. Thieving little toe rags :evil:

Here`s a pic of one i did last year to put on my Consul, but on a playing cards theme. I also used two of them for the inside door lock buttons.

Drill a small hole in the side, tap it out and secure to the valve with a small grub screw, best if its an allen screw type than a slotted one though...

i used to buy pool balls, drill and tap em out and sell em on ebay as gearnobs for £12 each, then everyone clicked on on and now i dont bother, i ve got a solid billet sphere on mine.

 

ps ive just found a load of new old stock original stainless dusties ..

what wheels are they?? we had a full set which were supposed to be collected at santa pod a few years ago... they ended up left there i think
