Copey Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 if you dont want it flog it to someone who will restore it, its too good to break!

countrybumpkin Posted February 14, 2009 Author Report Posted February 14, 2009 id just build an everyday sling about car see thats what i was kinda thinking as it wont take much money to get back on the road
Retro-gone. Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 thats the best option if you dont want a lotta money tied up in it , doesnt matter what the weathers like and you can sling stuff in the boot/hatch without worry im looking for a mk5 cortina i can do the same thing with.

jed Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 Weld the diff up n take it to arena essex n enjoy yourself at their drifting meets...
countrybumpkin Posted February 15, 2009 Author Report Posted February 15, 2009 well after some practical experiments to find out it there was a lsd fitted i achevied nothing except coating the road with rubber so i took it back to the workshop and took the diff cover off ....... sadly no lsd but i still bekive it may be a special as everything else is there that a special should have and the axle has been recently disterbed, also the guy i got it from had another capri with a 2lt cossy lump fitted to it so the axle could of gone on that
