I suspect this is going to get lots of "don't watch that rubbish anyway" type answers, but..................

I've just watched last nights hour long episode on video and I think that has to be one of the most harrowing things I've ever seen on any TV drama. My wife was in floods of tears and if I'm honest I had a pretty big lump in my throat too.

Imagine the pain and grief of being forced up to give up your child for adoption when you are 14 years old and to long for her your whole life.......................only to have her die in your arms 19 years later.......about 5 minutes after you've learnt who she really is and realised how badly you've treated her

I know it's fiction, but it was pretty grim, for once I think Eastenders could have given us a happy ending.

I AGREE.......They strung the story out, and i was hoping for a happy ending...But we got the usual....Depressing stuff....

I know it`s a bit sad, as its fiction.....But just not Cricket!!!

I agree, totally depressing, for ONCE please couldn't it have been a happy ending.

Oh I don't normally watch it either

there must be a clause in the script writers contract "what ever happens there cannot be a remotely happy ending"

so f**king annoying :x:x

Hope they realise they made a mistake...and bring her back like Bobby in Dallas...........In the shower.......!!!!!!! Im a dirty old man, and im not ashamed.....

I dont make a habit of watching them........But if im in the room.......

same  misses has the controls (she's pregnant and every body knows you don't mess!) why do you think i'm on here!

I was getting realy P**sed of with that story line but hoped it would be worth it when they "lived happy ever after" then i watched it last night !!!

I think they made a big mistake on the storyline and she could have got better after a stint in Hospital

as far as im aware it must be true its in colour

PMSL :lol::lol::lol::lol:

It is true & I love watching it. I was shocked to find out Danielle was dead, but in some ways it all fits. Ronnie's dad told her that her baby had died (he was lying obviously), she had to give her away, & now she has found her, she died in her arms. Very sad

To all those of you that says it's crap, I suppose you enjoy watching films like Terminator, Rambo, Transformers and other such Hollywood tripe that is nothing but absurd story lines terrible acting and whizz bangs and special effects? Eastenders may not be to your tastes but it is well acted and represents gritty drama about circumstances and events that can (and do) happen to real people in real lives.

Still think they ended that storyline badly though.

yeah ok movies are every bit as fake, but part of the entertainment of movies is that they are not real life, they actually take you away from real life into a bit of a fantasy, for lack of better words, where as soaps just seem to be about 'real life' and are damn depressing, to be fair you could hear the stories in soaps if you go down the pub and talk to people, why just watch about real life? go live it! when was the last time you went down the pub and heard the line "and then my car turned into a giant robot" ?

No ta, I'd rather watch it played out by fictional characters on the box than depress my friday night out listening to it for real. And movies are 1000% more fake, they portray things that stand absolutely 0 chance of happening in real life, even the non special effects stunts take careful preparation. If they were happen to a real person in real life most of them would be dead, not walking away with a torn T shirt and perhaps a few scratches.
