MightySprocket Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 I had the weekend all arranged (including not camping at the pod ) because someone was buying the escort tomorrow. Just had a message saying he can't buy it now "because his cars been stolen" I've had 2 weeks of emails off this guy, let him have the car at a reduced price to be let down. To say im not happy is an understatement It will be going back on the bay and will be advertised on here and elsewhere tonight.

Is it me, or do a lot of people dream of owning a CF but when it comes down to it the reality of it is too much for them

stevepeanut Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 one of my mates is a messer, he bids on things that 99% of the time he wont win, so he can tell everyone "I'm bidding on this" one time he bid on a pug 1900 gti 205 engine, told everyone what he was doing, he had no intention of actually wanting to win or own it, then suddenly, he was highest bidder and shitting himself, saying what shall I do, email the seller and say my cars been nicked, or I've been made redundant, in the end he just got outbid one time he bid on pile of old PC units, all from the 80s, all junk and won them for £20, had to go and get a car full and pick them up!
