mk1super Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 My mates cat is very bad behaved of late, and has started pissing everywhere but in the litter tray Now he cleans the tray out properly fresh cat litter and that odour stuff popped in to, and the cat goes and pisses next to the litter tray He got it a new bed and it pissed in that too needless to say my mate wasnt amused, and shouted at it and it hissed and went for him The cats 7 years old and up till about 6 months ago was ok.

FredTransit Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 Cat's won't use a litter tray if they are not happy with it. Has he changed cleaning products? Try using just pain cat litter, the cat might want an indication of where is best to go. Does the bed have a roof? Try getting one with a roof (or an old carrying crate) to see if he/she is looking for a bit of privacy.

BUT he only did it after we had another cat over, looking after it about 3 years ago.. Maybe yours leaned it off another cat.. I recommend a good talking to.. it doesn't work but it makes me feel better..
