Badgerman85 Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 as some or many of you will know i got suspended yesterday, basically they pulled me up on a load of other things in the meeting today which they written proof of etc etc etc, so basically rather than get fired, i resigned before they had a chance, so now they have to pay me a months wage and all my holiday plus the week ive just worked, looks like its cost them more in the long run, nevermind tho, life will soldier on, and i will find another job all be it just to keep the escort going! thanks for the support guys and gals!

You and girlfriend still an item? aint worth fallin out with her over it really manager just rang urging me 2 come 2 the meetind monday morning, ive said ill come but unless they want to let me keep my job my resignation still stands. so its win win on that front really.

Why will they have to pay you a months wage? If you choose to leave, you're only entitled to your notice period if you work it. If they fire you on the spot or make you redundant they have to pay your notice period. But as you resigned, they don't have to pay you a month. It won't make any difference to any references they give you and it won't really make things look any more favourable on job applications.
