...a Capri. 8)

I don;t get it till the new year, which will give me time to paint it (its going rattle-can matt black folks!) and lower it. Its currently running a 2.0 Pinot with a...worryingly....1.6 rear axle :? I'll be changing that at some point.

Its solid enough though, and its got the good balance of being a runner (mot and everything) but still at the point where i can put my stamp on it. :D

Its going to be a keeper too, mainly bacuase i can;t buy and sell cars like i used to as i have a little mouth to feed now. :D

Oh, its not got those wheels either, its on laser rims.

Still, s'allright ain't it?

All this for £300! 8)

And El Sumo, sorry mate. I would have loved the go-in-harder, but i just ain't got that cash at the mo.

Yeah matt black it!!! I reckon they look better on 4 spokes anyway! I'll get some pics of my old mk3 up one day! was lowered on 4 spokes but I painted the spokes including the insets so they looked a a bit like 4 spoke revo's!

Nice one.

Keep the 1.6 axle though. Dads 2litre capri still has its 1.6 diff and it pulls really well. They are the same as 2 litre ones anyway, just different ratio.

Those 1.6 axles are every bit as tough as the ones from larger models, infact I think the shafts are thicker than the 2 litre and are the same thickness as the 2.8i.

Seems to be a bit of a fashion for putting in those MkII grills ATM :?:D

Nice one dude looks ace. Shame the axels knackered, id replace it with another 1.6 one though, my capri has a 1.6 axle and 2.1 pinto and its well quick accelerating used to waste my mates 300zx and turbo bluebird! Wasnt far off another mates silvia turbo either and that was quick (190+ brake)
