Trig_112 Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 Afternoon all. First off, lets start off on a bad foot. My daily drive is a 2007 Mondeo, my track car is a 1995 Escort and my weekend car is a 1986 XR3i. None of these come even close to meeting your criteria, especially as the XR is a mk4, and I saw the notice on the door on the way in. I realise all of this puts me in the firing line for being hoofed out, but before you do, let me attempt some redemption. 1. I was told to look on here by Immingham, I think he wanted me to see some of the pics of his car, as if having it on my drive every few weekends isnt enough. 2. Immi and I (too many I's) have sort of inherited a Fez mk1 pop that needs to be a bit quicker, so technical advice is the order of the day, the best ways to bodge. I do love my classics, Im just far too tight to buy a proper one, so the XR is the earliest I have got so far.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted August 3, 2009 Admin Report Posted August 3, 2009 Hello and a very warm welcome to OSF Everyone is welcome on here but we would just ask that you don't mention the unmentionables too many times as we are trying to keep the site purely Old Skool (that is ... Old Skool in the eyes of this forum only) Thanks and we hope you enjoy our forum Oh, and you'll have to excuse our swear filter which changes some of the newer models names to ones of our choice ... we have a warped sense of humour
Trig_112 Posted August 3, 2009 Author Report Posted August 3, 2009 Right you are, no mention of air con, abs or even the mid 80's.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted August 3, 2009 Admin Report Posted August 3, 2009 Air con ..... what's that then And abs are for the gymnasium only
Admin Vista Posted August 3, 2009 Admin Report Posted August 3, 2009 Air con ..... what's that then And abs are for the gymnasium only Depends what era Jo, ours are called windows and if you wind the handle at just the right speed you can make them look like electrickery ones. Oh and you;'ve come to the right place for abs Welcome to the site, everyones welcome and there's nothing in site policy that says you have to own an OSF to be involved.
