sambo Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 Going to HT's on the 28th for a map tweak. Its spitting slightly through number 3 and as i have changed the exhaust fannymould i think it could do with a tweak. Could also do with smoothing out a little as at 5500rpm there is another surge of power. I just dont know if it is worth buying an air filter??? I know that Gaz lost alot of power with his?? Shall we play the guess the power game? I reckon 219.4 BHP (hopefully it will be more though, it feels like it has a lot more!) Cant wait!
Toby Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 What's the spec? Good luck - without knowing the spec I'm going to guess between 150 and 280
mk1estate Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 Well son..its not all about horse power its all about bull shite so im going to have a guess at 220.5 bhp when youve had a bit of a tweek
sambo Posted August 14, 2009 Author Report Posted August 14, 2009 What's the spec? Good luck - without knowing the spec I'm going to guess between 150 and 280 Here's the spec: Cosworth forged pistons 91mm bore (std. is 90.84mm). 11.4 :1 Comp.ratio L1 inlet camshaft timed @ 102 BD3 exhaust camshaft timed @ 110 Ported / polished 4 x 4 cyl. head. (26.7mm inl. ports / 25mm exh. ports) Doweled / matched inlet manifold + Jenvey throttle bodies. Omex management system.
nelly231 Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 gonna be optimistic and say 230 with no filters
