For years i thought i would'nt be content until i got a YB turbo under the bonnet of my mk1 escort, until recently. I went out in a mates sapphire cossie which is doing around 270BHP. To be honest, i found the lag and the whole 'quietness' of it a little dull. I got straight back into my escort with a 2.1 pinto with 45's and i didnt stop smiling all the way home.

I reckon its 55-60% about the noise in an old car. For me anyway, you just cant beat the snort of a pair of sidedraughts!

So instead of saving up to get a cossie lump in my mk1, i am gonna save up to get a powerfull HT or H.P.E pinto in there

N/A rocks!!

You can't beat the noise of a set of side draughts , but the feel of power from tuned yb turbo is out of this world :) Go on the Yb turbo
