webby1 Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 hello to every one, well i thought it was about time i said hello to you all, i do however have a confession, i am writing this for my son who is in the army, at the moment he is not in the country and is therefore unable to either write his welcome post or to ask any questions, but, i do have a long standing love affair with old fords as i remember them the first time round, and as luck would have it my son has been afflicted with the same bug, i have just purchased on his behalf a mk1 escort estate with a 2 litre pinto already fitted, it was on ebay so i told him about it and he agreed with me its a great starter classic, so i am going to collect it at the weekend so it will be ready for him to use when he returns, i am sure that we will be asking loads of questions of you all as he has plans already for what he wants to do with it, thanks very much for taking the time to read this post, i hope to meet some of you in the future as it is nice to meet up with like minded people, cheers, phil.
