That is very poor JP, sorry to hear about that. Don't accept that, it is unacceptable as a professionally made performance item. You can see why I made my own after having an Ashley system.

 You would like to think if making exhausts was your business you'd make a better job of it than those.

Were they cheap? Are there alternatives?

Posted

even I can see they are p1ss poor, and all I've got is a builders eye ( he wants it back tomorrow).

I now know I wont be going there for my exhaust, which was on the cards.

Hope you get sorted mate

Not shure what the meaning is of this kit.

Did a try out a few months ago for my suplier in Holland. Special made for left hand drive purpose. RHD one's wont fit.

First kit didn't fit and us was ashured a second kit would come in within a few weeks. As we where very interrested we made a deal.

Didn't hear from my suplier in a few months and now they are on my doorstep directly from the manufacturer.

Have not payed for it yet. Looking at the quality we won't pay for it also.

Will test fit it tommorow and contact my suplier what the meaning is of this kit.

Have a modifiet Janspeed system ready ( RHD kit converted tot LHD, our steering collumn is on the other side.. )

Was hoping this Ashley kit was better but I am shure stock manifolds will flow better then this.

Was hoping for mandrel bend full lenght primaries ( not welded pipes ).

Hi JP,

If you want a nice manifold you should try EPS in Hoogeveen. I do also know some other people (in The Netherlands) who can make you a custom manifold witch will be quality.

Cheers,

had problems with ashley myself a couple of times! had to grind the welds back where the flange is welded to the primaries as itwas so bad the manifold nut wouldnt do up, and also bought another system and manifold together to find they were actually different sizes!
