Il be there, the e30 is in bits now and my cortinas sold so it will be up to others for the dust spreading this year
jay_g Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 Hi all, Bit of a boring question but I can see that every one seems to be saying that this is a great show etc and everyone looks forward to it but is this because its a good social for those that know each other and great for getting pissed? Reason I ask is that I have a Mk1 escort thats not back on the road yet and although I would like to meet some of you, see your cars etc, I am also hoping to see loads of finished MK1's and get inspiration and knowledge from those that dont mind sharing the experience with these cars with me before I go crashing into my project blind! So is it a good show from an outsiders point of view and does anyone have any pics from previous shows? Thanks, and sorry for sounding boring Jay

Yes it's a good show regardless of who you do or don't know and is a great place to get to know people you've spoken to online. There will be plenty of project inspirations for you to see.

Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 I didn't know anyone at last years show, and never spoke to anyone from here or anyone else the whole day, but I still thought it was one of the best car shows I have ever been to, and i've been to a few over the years. Shame there's no pics of the bird in the pink bikini top though
