Ste-V Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Nothing wrong with The Carpenters Well said And me and my mate have never been ashamed of what we like to listen to, bearing in mind we're only 19, we quite happily drive about with whatever we want on full chat No matter how old, new, cool, un cool it is
retrorigg Posted January 15, 2010 Author Report Posted January 15, 2010 heres another one of my fav groups http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6n9Hj-Vxboo
Admin Vista Posted January 15, 2010 Admin Report Posted January 15, 2010 I'm not really ashamed to admit it but they don't fall inline with the rest of my rock orientated music taste The late (great) John Denver, what's sad for me about this song is the fact the subject of the title Jacques Cousteau's Calypso (until recently) was lying rotting in La Rochelle since his death in 1997. In my youth in the 70's I was fascinated by his exploits on this boat. Oh and another old favourite Cat Stevens (pre muslim conversion)
over_head_cam Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 I like all sorts of stuff. I don't think there's a genre of music that I don't like at least 1 track of. All music to me has it's merits, from Eminem to ELO and the Carpenters to Coldplay. I don't think it matters.
Admin Vista Posted January 15, 2010 Admin Report Posted January 15, 2010 I don't think there's a genre of music that I don't like at least 1 track of. So you must either be a fan of Bob the builder or Mr Blobby Hmmmmm TV themes? Kids programs? I'll get back to you on that I'm sure there will be elements that are OK
