My New Car

Built originally by Gary (RetroMotorsports) for a customer as a race car with a view of running a twin turbo 24V Cossie engine it was sold on before it was finished to a mate of mine who finished the build off and converted it for road use, although I dont think it needed much to get it thru an MOT. He built and ran a 700hp cossie engine in it before buying another escort (again built by Gary) which he loves which left this car un-loved and not being used.

I'd been thinking of turning to the dark side (ie not comfy) for a while but to be honest, I'm not patient enough to get one built and this particular escort Ive worshiped from afar for awhile:lol:

So a deal was struck

And yes, I did say it was road legal

 

Its currently having the engine from my capri fitted (as I bought the car engine-less) and I'll be having what was my "spare" cossie engine fitted into the capri, which will then be up for sale in the near future.

So a 380hp engine in what is essentially a race car on the road should go quite well
