evil knievel Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 I'm still waiting for my free hammer from Stanley, and I just can't take any more heart break
Copey Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 if only i had £80 layin about, compressor would be good for smaller parts, or to paint a trackday toy
Skimmer Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 I brought one exactly the same last sunday of a neighbour only used twice for blowing up the big kids pool over last summer i gave him 15 quid , thats all he wanted if only i had £80 layin about, compressor would be good for smaller parts, or to paint a trackday toy
morcheen Posted March 13, 2010 Author Report Posted March 13, 2010 cheap but how long will it last ? 3 year warranty not sure if it applies to the syrup
livewire7116 Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 cheap but how long will it last ? 3 year warranty not sure if it applies to the syrup If thats true a 3 yr warranty its better than SNAP ON as they only give 1 yr on air tools
Copey Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 have had a few hand tools from lidl and aldi and they are still going good tools odly!
Fishtailparka Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 My last tin of syrup lasted 5 years, so not really bothered about the warranty. The tins rust way before the syrup breaks.
macleod861 Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 3 year warranty ive never had any props with anything ive bought from them get urself the air shears best thing ive ever bought from there cheaper and better than my tinsnips.
flyingbanana Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 cheap but how long will it last ? not long at that price......cheap tools are cheap because they are shite and never last esp if used daily
Savvi Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 cheap but how long will it last ? not long at that price......cheap tools are cheap because they are shite and never last esp if used daily Ideal for diy's though, how often are you going to use them doing the odd bit of cutting etc. I often buy cheap tools from them if i'm only going to use them every now & then, but buy better quality on stuff i use everyday, at those prices buy 2 lots As for warranty they do change if possible or offer your money back, my mate took something back a while ago and they refunded him
squadge78 Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 thats the compressor i used to paint my fiesta
Skimmer Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 Just got back from a drive out with she who must be obeyed so called in at aldi and got 2 sets of shears and 2 of the 3''cut off tools had a good look over them and all inclusive of warranty etc ,if they last a year or so there worth it and im sure thell last longer, the garage equipment was flying out in trollys in the 15 mins i was there just about every bloke brought something............cant see much being left in a day or so
Savvi Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 Did you go out in your van ? Is it white with blue strips ? We passed one today L reg been told of it floating around and wondered if it's yours ? As for the tools we went Greyhound racing so didn't get to call in, but i did "phone a friend" and asked him to pick me some bits up
Skimmer Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 No mate mine is straight white i was actually talking to the owner of the van you saw at the Kassam just before i got the tools , the white/ blue stripped van is from Witney so the owner told me and he pointed out it had the factory rear seat in it , which he proceeded to show me , seemed like a decent sort..... Is it white with blue strips ? We passed one today L reg been told of it floating around and wondered if it's yours ?
Savvi Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 Been told it's around Abingdon quite a bit. Looked like a doris or guy with long hair driving it Looks tidy though. How was the rear seat fitted like an estate ?
