mexman123 Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 A few months ago i posted a thread about my ongoing and overdue plans to escape from Brummyland Birmingham and persue my long overdue goal of re-locating to beautiful Cornwall..... Well, as of last Friday, i have sold my house,, So to all of you who replyd to my previous thread including Vista and Mrs Leadfoot offering housing advise and locations etc....thankyou!! Whoo-hoo i can now start making plans to live where my heart truly is and look forward to seeing and meeting you at Route 38 and other West Country meets...can't wait. Hmmmm.....i can almost taste them pasties.. Just need to wait a bit now to make sure the sale progresses and start house hunting.....

I 'sold' my house last week, nearly passed on solicitors details and then the chain fell down. I hope you have much better luck. All the best, Jon
mexman123 Posted April 30, 2010 Author Report Posted April 30, 2010 Cheers everyone, solicitors are exchanging draft contracts this week, survey being done, girl who is purchasing is popping back round on Sunday to 'measure up', happy days, its all looking good Have seen a few properties i am interested in, just need to book some holidays from work, and get down there and have a look.... Cant wait, lets hope this summer is a goodun.... Hopefully be moved and settled by August.

It does have its downsides though. Transport links are rubbish and it's a long drive to get anywhere important.
