Alternative to cars

If, hyperthetically, you just couldnt have a car of any sort (that is interesting) what would you do to fill your mind and your time?

 

With all this house shite goining on at the moment (not being able to find a place). If i sold it, just dont know what else i would do?!?!

 

Model Aeroplanes?

Mountain biking?

Stamp collecting?

 

I dont think anything else would do! Basically, if i didn't have my car, i would be a lost, miserable bastard.

 

But, i am oopen to suggestions!

Yer once youve got a house it will cost you in money and time your better off finishing the car first then getting house me and sarah just got a house it cost me about £6000 just to move in before the morgauge starts

old skool bmx's was into them before i got into this and yes only about 4 years ago, when raleigh burners were cheap nowadays i wish i kept them all

 

maybe i will buy that one special raleigh burner ....one day....

got a lot of scalextric up in the loft waiting be put up once the loft is floored out

in the middle of 2 very long term project model railways, one in N and one in OO

 

love my radio control cars too, got 2 electric ones and a petrol one

 

my mate had a model plane, he made it take off, and gave me a go when it was in the sky, was a trainer one, but I could fly it around ok doing basic loops and figure of 8s, I could really get into that, if I had the time and money

T-180 with all radio gear and 4 stroke motor can do it at a good price as im fed up walking in to it landing is about the hadest part but it just takes time and with someone that knows what there doing to explain it all to you and talk to you while your doing it,,, look out a local club on the BMFA

thats what i do at the moment, im usually out and about all weekend if im not up to something else, once youve got the gear it doesnt cost that much apart from if you travel places

 

i would like to do mountain biking again but think i would probably break myself too much if i went back into it

well i just got a 6 month driving ban so was forced back into cycling to work and back 24 miles a day not fun.

 

but alot of stuff is getting done round the house now tht im not psending the time on my car

getting fitter aswell i bet!

 

i cycle 15 miles a day (most days) and i'm feeling better for it

(not lost any weight yet but i'm hoping that might happen)
