Martin B Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 Hi all I have just accuired a couple of Ford mountain bikes, they have the Ford logo on the frame and one still has the solid rear wheel insert in the ford colours with large logo. I was told by the person I got them from that they were a special limited run and are painted in performance blue (Focus RS colour). Does anyone else have any more info? Are they worth anything? Danmex Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 They still sell them at Benfield Ford in Leeds, don't know how much they are though. Apparently they are replica WRC team pit crew bikes.

perry Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 KONA was flowing colin mcrae bikes for a while ( dunno if they still do ) they wernt anything special , just had his name on em funny how a wrc rally driver needs a bike to get fit and a mountain biker doesnt need a wrc car must mean bikes are better than rallys

Thet were only based on cheap bikes.

Thet were only based on cheap bikes. thats it , had one in the shop last week , quite low specs for the price also had a land rover rep come in and show me a catalogue crap
