Jelly Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 Forgive my ignorance guys, but what is a JPS?
Daveyboy20 Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 It stands for John Player Special, its coz JPS cigarettes sponsored the Formula one Lotus in the 70's and it used the black and gold colour scheme, Ford used it in the road going JPS Capri's - they're well rare now though!

How many are left out there? Very few, Doc has found a rare car. The mk2 had a production run of less than 4 years and the JPS was a very limited edition model (Lotus also did a limited edition JPS version of the esprit in very similar colours)
