RFChris Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 Droopsnoot, everyday! Why? Because its an iconic design synonymous with R.S Fords. I have nothing against flat-front Escys though!

Burns Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 i think they've had this argument before dude from what i gather, they did make flat front mk2 rs2000's but just not in the uk and i prefer the droop anyways

tim Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 ok then they didnt make a mk2 rs2000 flat front did they they only made the mk1 rs2000 as a flatfrontam i correct steve its 1 of thos ford black holes, some sources say yes there were flat front 2k other say there wasnt. what can be said is there were no flat front rs2000 mk2 sold in the europen market i have read this from some1 from oz in the rsoc the Escort you are describing is the Rally Pack. Like all Escorts sold here, it was a de-tuned Pinto that you lot had. Still it was a 2 litre. The wheels were 5.5x13" alloys, yes it did have the thick body stripe with ESCORT cut-out at the rear, the front spoiler was similar to the Mexico, but with an 'Escort' back-to-front sticker. The instruments were the same as a Ghia.We did not get any flat front RS2000's. We have 2 and 4 door models, with the nosecones. If there were any sold, they were Ford Motorsport Works Cars, like the RS1800.
young un Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 thanks for makin it a bit clearer steve
mk2_escort_chick Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 It's all about the droopsnoop baby
Admin Vista Posted January 11, 2007 Admin Report Posted January 11, 2007 Here you go guys, the definitive flat front RS2000 story, begins at the bottom of the first page
X-pack-Glyn Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 Droopsnoot? i hate it when thay called that.... a droopsnoot is part of the ferenza 2.3 range, or magnum.... on the RS its called a nosecone! and i prefer the flat front.
